About Shield
Shield exists because the gap between discovering a fake account and doing anything useful about it is filled with panic, bad advice, and people selling takedown services that cannot work.
Free, permanently
There is no paid tier, no email wall and no account. Shield is not a business and will not become one. It is published by amansploit as a public safety tool.
What Shield cannot do
It cannot delete an account. There is no takedown API and no private channel. What it does is compress the three things that actually decide the outcome: how fast a cluster of real people reports the account, how well the official report is written, and whether the escalation ladder gets followed to the end.
Why verification exists
A link that mobilises strangers to mass-report an account is a weapon unless the person creating it can prove they are the one being impersonated. So a case stays dark until the real handle displays a one-time code. It costs a genuine victim sixty seconds; it stops the tool being pointed at innocent people.
What Shield stores
The fake account details, your chosen display name, your evidence, and a counter. IP addresses are never stored — only a keyed hash used to stop double-counting. Contact details are encrypted. Everything is deleted 90 days after the case is created.
